What to eat after episode

I am recovering from an episode. Whenever I have one, in addition to being dizzy I am very sleepy and have ZERO appetite. Now I am on the mend, and I am still not hungry, but know that I need to eat so I don’t have another back to back attack.

I have been sipping green tea and slowly eating saltines (with no salt). Nothing is appealing to me. That’s how I will know when I am all the way recovered…because I love food!

I am new to this forum and to MAV.

All sharing of experience and wisdom is appreciated.

Hi,

I eat lots of homemade vegetable soup. Made with no stock (due to potential MSG and nasty additives). I just lightly fry up ginger, garlic, shallots, then add lots of carrots, pumpkin, celery, and tomato, a few herbs -ususally basil- and whatever other migraine-friendly bland vegetables are in the fridge.

Mush it with a mixer when it’s done.

it’s pretty boring, but you know you’re getting lots of good vitamins and fibre…
