Head sloshing

I am at a loss to understand what I am suffering from. To describe, it is as if you are carrying a half full bucket of water and it is sloshing from side to side.

I was diagnosed with BPVD which has gone, I was OK for 3 months (after 9 months of that) but on 12 Jan this year, I awoke with this movement in the head, as above. I suffer instant vertigo if I look up but the “sloshing” can occur for no apparent reason, even if my head is not moving.

I do not have headaches. Tests have not diagnosed what is wrong. A physio who specialises in “vestibular rehabilitation” says it is vestibular hypotension.

To me it seems to resemble “mal de d’arbarquement” but I have not been on either a boat or a plane.

It is removing any quality of life as I am for days at a time unable to drive= leave the house as I am unbalanced.

Anyone?

I hear you and feel your pain…but no real advice to offer that is not already out there! We all know the frustration of no diagnosis or real answers. Hope it soon improves for you - just know that you are not alone.

Thank you for yr reply. Under what title or category should I look under? I am new to this forum. x

I sometimes get this feeling from back of my head and to the top of my head. It feels like liquid is traveling through my head and sometimes from my nose to the forehead. It’s scary sometimes.
