Nort is a refined sister of Ami. Ami does cause weight gain. @flutters what is the max dose the doc wants you to titrate upto ? Depends on the dosage as well, if it 20mg or less then the weight gain can be managed. For me i am on 20mg and still slowly piling pounds.
Start at 10 mg. Can go up to 50 mg. No interest in getting there if Iām as sensitive to ami as I was to topomax. Topomax utterly destroyed me at 25 mg - and I gained weight on a drug designed originally for weight loss.
