Unilatural vestibular hypofunction

hey, I am trying to find people who suffer from the same problem, either unilateral or bilateral vestibular hypofunction, in particular someone a similar age to me. I am 19, suspected of having the problem from trauma at birth. apparently according to my doctor most patients with this problem have it as one of the unfortunate consequences of having MS but at my age it does not happen very often. I cannot really find that much about it on the internet nor have I managed to find anyone else with it.

basically its damage to the vestibular system, either both sides which is bilateral which usually results in more severe problems and unilateral which is what I have which is damage to one side of the vestibular system, in my case the right side.

Hi Frank, My son was diagnosed with left vestibular hypofunction at 25. He started vestibular rehabilitation and continued that for a year or more at which point he stopped and saw another vestibular specialist who said he didn’t have it. He has been unable to work for more than 3 years. A neurologist told him it was just anxiety but those drugs and CBT have done nothing either…
